U Beogradu je u periodu 17-19. decembra održana edukativna
radionica o izboru tehnologije malih modularnih reaktora,
finansiranju, bezbednosti, sigurnosti i kontrolisanoj
upotrebi nuklearnih tehnologija u mirnodopske svrhe,
programa Osnovna infrastruktura za odgovorno korišćenje
tehnologije malih modularnih reaktora. Svoj doprinos
radionici dali su prof. dr Sanja Milivojević i Miloš
Lazarević, članovi Katedre za termoenergetiku Mašinskog
fakulteta Univerziteta u Beogradu. U okviru panel diskusije
Razmatranje tehnologije malih modularnih reaktora, Miloš
Lazarević je izložio rad “POSSIBILITIES OF INCREASED
VOLUMETRIC HEAT FLUX IN SCALED STEAM GENERATORS OF SMRs”, a
prof. Milivojević u sklopu panel diskusije Finansiranje
malih modularnih reaktora, rad pod naslovom”: “NET PRESENT
VALUE AND PAYBACK PERIOD OF SMRs OVER LARGE-SCALE NUCLEAR
POWER PLANT PROJECT”.
The Foundational Infrastructure for Responsible Use of Small
Modular Reactor Technology (FIRST) Workshop on Small Modular
Reactor Technology Selection, Financing, and Safety,
Security, and Non-Proliferation was held in Belgrade from 17
to 19 December. Professor Dr. Sanja Milivojević and Miloš
Lazarević, members of the Department of Thermal Power
Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering,
University of Belgrade, contributed to the workshop. As part
of the section SMR Technology Consideration, Miloš Lazarević
presented the paper “POSSIBILITIES OF INCREASED VOLUMETRIC
HEAT FLUX IN SCALED STEAM GENERATORS OF SMRs”, and as part
of the section Financing Considerations in Technology
Selection, Dr. Milivojević presented the paper entitled:
“NET PRESENT VALUE AND PAYBACK PERIOD OF SMRs OVER
LARGE-SCALE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT PROJECT”.

OGROMAN USPEH SRPSKOG STUDENTA U PRAGU: Miloš dobio nagradu za najbolji rad iz nuklearnog inženjerstva!
Miloš Lazarević, student doktorskih studija na Mašinskom
fakultetu u Beogradu i istraživač-pripravnik u Laboratoriji
za generatore pare i nuklearne reaktore pri Katedri za
termoenergetiku, osvojio je nagradu za najbolji studentski
naučni rad na nedavno održanoj 31. Međunarodnoj konferenciji
o nuklearnom inženjerstvu u PraguNa ovom prestižnom skupu, u
organizaciji Američkog društva mašinskih inženjera,
Japanskog društva mašinskih inženjera i Kineskog nuklearnog
društva, učestvovalo je više od 100 studenata iz celog
sveta, a nagrade su dodeljene za po jedan najbolji rad iz
Severne Amerike, Evrope i Azije. S obzirom da je nuklearna
nauka kompleksna i da se sastoji iz mnogo disciplina i sami
radovi su bili iz različitih oblasti.Milošev rad „Skaliranje
horizontalnog generatora pare bazirano na trodimenzionalnim
termohidrauličkim simulacijama” nagrađen je poveljom
„Nagrada za najbolji rad”, u okviru studentske sesije. Pored
nagrade za najbolji rad ovaj mladi istraživač dobio je i
mogućnost razmene studenata u okviru projekta „ENEN2plus”
koji sprovodi Evropska nuklearna obrazovna mreža.

Paper "Numerical investigations of steam accumulator dynamics: Assessment of computational models"
As part of the TPP-RSU project sponsored by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, a paper "Numerical investigations of steam accumulator dynamics: Assessment of computational models" was published in the prestigious international "Journal of Energy Storage" (doi.org/10.1016/j .est.2024.112633).

2024. Prof. dr Vladimir Stevanović i prof. dr Sanja
Milivojević su na poster sesiji
izložili rad pod naslovom "Carnot Battery Based on
Pumped Thermal Energy
Storage with Regenerative Pebble Bed and Steam Accumulator".
Ovaj rad je nastao
kao rezultat istraživanja na projektu TPP RSU.

Palace, on the island of Rhodes in Greece, from
30.6.-5.07.2024. Prof. Dr. Vladimir

Steam Accumulator" at the poster session. This paper was
created as a result of

Professor Jovica Riznic from Ontario Tech University (Canada) held the lecture 1.5C - Contribution of nuclear energy to decarbonization of electric power system - Ontario case on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (University of Belgrade

Professor Riznic explained that Ontario plans to abandon the use of fossil fuels in power generation systems in order to achieve zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050.
